Product Reviews

The second feature involves our entire shopping cart. If you've ordered from us before and have established a shopping cart signon, you can now login and post online your comments and reviews on all of our products directly onto our shopping cart. You don't need to be logged into the shopping cart to read reviews left by others, but you do need to login to post your own reviews.

example
To access this feature, login to the shopping cart, then go to the area entitled 'Product Critic' on the lower left corner of the product page. You can then give the product a rating of one to five, and type in the comments box any advice or information you want to pass along regarding the product. You can either disclose your email with your review, or you can post it anonymously, should you have privacy concerns.

To view an example of this new feature, click here.

This feature is meant to allow you to share your experiences and tips on the use of any of our products. Please keep in mind that many of our customers are first-time homebrewers, so any constructive reviews you post can go a long way towards helping them brew their first batch successfully.

Thanks again for your feedback , and thanks in advance for your product reviews.

Here are some HBA favorites:

Abbey Normal Belgian Ale: Abbey Style Ales cover a lot of ground in terms of strength, color, and flavor. They can vary from 6 to 11% alcohol. They can be pale to dark brown. Hops rarely play a dominant role so the flavors generally range from sweet to spicy to earthy. The use of pure Belgian Candi Sugar aids in giving this beer its authentic Belgian character. Medium amber in color, medium to full bodied with a malty/spicy aroma. Liquid yeast is strongly recommended with this recipe.

St. Nick's Holiday Ale:: St. Nick's Holiday Ale is a delightfully spiced ale with accents of cinnamon and vanilla. Mildly hopped with nice honey flavors balanced by the nutmeg and clove. This Amber colored malty ale will really warm up your winter nights. Brew early to make the Holidays!

Ram's Head Weizenbock: As its style name implies, German wheat with bock strength. Quite a combo!! Deep amber color, medium to full bodied with banana and clove character apparent (except in dry yeast version).

Sell Us Belgian Witbier:: EXample of Belgian Wit ("white") beer. Wheat malt at approx.45% of grain bill leads to the cloudy, "white" appearance. Orange peel and coriander seed makes a tart, thirst quenching summer beverage.

Cru Select Cabernet Sauvignon:: This variety is King of the noble grapes. Grown worldwide, it is a medium to full-bodied red with a distinctive black curranty flavor and hints of mint and cedar. Perfect for those cold winter nights.

Cellars Classic Bergamias (Beaujoulais): This refreshing, light bodied red has become a favorite wine for the holidays. The Gamay grape variety gives it a cherry and candy flavor with a hint of raspberry. Best enjoyed young.
